2. Add Healthy Fats

Skip the fried foods, pass on cheese, and make healthier fat choices. Use avocado in place of cheese, eat fresh fish, and cook with the right oils.


3. Make Wiser Oil Choices

Pass on the canola oil. Use something healthier, like coconut oil or olive oil.


4. Eat Fiber

Fiber keeps your system regular. A healthy digestive system will help you maintain a healthy weight and could help with digestive issues (like diarrhea and constipation).


5. Make Healthy Swaps

Skip junk food and make healthy snacking choices. Eat fresh fruit to curb your sweet tooth and have some carrots or pickles to curb your need for crunchy or salty snacks.


6. Season Your Food Without Salt

Table salt or sea salt, it's all still salt. Season with fresh herbs, garlic and onion powder, and other spices for more flavor.


7. Slow Down

Don't be in such a hurry to eat. The longer it takes to prepare a meal, the healthier it might be (fresh vegetables take some prep). It's also smart to skip fast food and make healthy stuff at home.
